Overview:

Stronghold is a combination of a building simulation and a real-time strategy. Build and conquer castles, populate lands with your peasants and defend your country from invaders. The game has two principal modes, simulation and invasion. In simulation, you just build castles and villages, without troubling yourself with wars. In invasion mode, you have to use tactical combat to defeat your enemies. Your opponents are Duc de Puce, Duc de Beauregard, Duc Truffe and Duc Volpe, also called the rat , the snake , the pig and the wolf , respectively. They all have different personalities and styles of combat--of all of them the wolf is the most difficult to defeat. Lay siege to your friend's castle with the multiplayer demo of Stronghold.
