Overview:

VIMAS Technologies is now offering a voice streaming applet which streams wideband voice with audio bandwidth limited to 7500Hz with 16kbps bit rate only. The introduction of a wider audio bandwidth provides substantially improved sound quality, intelligibility and speaker voice recognition. The Java applet streams the compressed voice with 16kbps bitrate, decompresses and plays it back in real-time. The applet has advanced controls: play, pause, and stop buttons with a slider for fast forward/rewind, as well as an indicator of voice file downloading. The applet has customizable Java and JavaScript interfaces.
