From the developer: "Java voice streaming applet provides voice streaming without needing either a plug-in in the browser or an audio server at the other end. No need for a time-consuming plug-in nor the hassle of installing and RE-installing it (and all the other plug-ins) every time you upgrade your browser. Java applet downloads the compressed voice with bitrate 4800bps, decompress and playback it in the real-time. User may add JavaScript button to Web site for start/stop of voice streaming."
