Overview:
On the back and side of every truck or train carrying hazardous material is a diamond shaped placard with a 4 digit code. HazMat will allow you to translate that code to the name of the actual dangerous material being transported. With this applicaton you will be able to find out what chemicals are stored in the trucks you find driving around your neighborhood. In the event of an spill or accident you will know what the exact dangers are, and how far to remove yourself from the area. This application contains all the chemical data from the 2008 Emergency Responders Guidebook (ERG). No network connection is required to access the data, making it accessible in any circumstance.
