Overview:
PolipoStatusBar encapsulates the lightweight, caching web proxy polipo into a convenient status bar menuitem. Polipo is already contained in the application bundle for your convenience. Notable features include: Small footprint (download: ~350KB, installed ~900KB) Access to a significant number of polipo's configuration options through a GUI Ad-filter, can be activated if desired, in which case polipo will use an internal list of hosts to block ads. The GUI does not provide all possible configuration options of polipo. If you think I left one out you really need, send me an email and I will see what I can do. Afer installing and running the software, make sure to change the network preferences to use polipo as the local proxy.
