WWWinamp 4.2 Build 3018 (Windows)

Overview:

WWWinamp is a web server which allows you to control a copy of WinAMP on the host computer through the web browser. This solution is perfect for people who prefer to use WinAMP on their Home Theater PC's or for people who wish to have remote control of their instance of WinAMP from anywhere.WWWinamp was originally developed by Nullsoft (2.5d, 09/04/01). Halo8 then picked up development (v2.7.8, 04/07/2004) and added some new features and much needed bug fixes. Halo8 has since stopped releasing updated version of WWWinamp but did maintain the history of GPL-ing the source code. I then picked up and continued development of this project in it's existing C/Win32 API/WinSock form. After working with the source code for a few months, it became clear that updating the source code with new features would be more and more difficult as time went on. I've since decided to recode the entire application using the Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.One goal of WWWinamp v4.0 is to change it's role into a web server that merely interacts with WinAMP. Moving forward with this idea, it will be easy to port the code for future development of applications such as "WWFoobar2000" or "WWVLC", which are planned. The other goal of WWWinamp was giving users the ability to change the layout and the UI of the Web Interface to anything they please, which was the primary limitation of the previous versions. With the new scripting engine, users to modify the default skin which comes with WWWinamp or create their own!
