This is a desktop PC program designed to interface between NASA's website and Microsoft Outlook 2000. And if you have a Pocket PC, Palm or Visor PDA, you can sync it to Outlook 2000 and it will automatically power on and beep to remind you just before each viewing, no matter where you happen to be! (any device that can synchronize appointments with Outlook 2000 can be used with this program) John Cody's SATALERT is a unique program that will grab the naked-eye viewing data for the International and MIR Space Stations from NASA's own website and automatically create appointments (with alarms) in Outlook 2000 to remind you right before each space station is scheduled to fly over your own home city*. Each generated reminder tells you exactly where to look in the sky, allowing you to see the space station with just your naked eyes - no telescope or binoculars needed! With our exclusive "WORRY FREE TRY ME"(TM) feature, you don't have to worry about 'disturbing' your PC's configuration just to try out this program. Our special installation technology allows you to fully uninstall this program without leaving a trace if you choose not to keep it. Unlike some other programs, our installation system does not rudely make changes to your PC's settings. A single click is all that is needed to perform the automatic uninstall. This download is the most current version, and it can be instantly unlocked. When it is in unregistered/demo mode, it will only generate reminders for the ISS viewing times in Hawaii to give you an actual example of how the program operates and what information it provides in each reminder. When purchased/unlocked, it can generate viewing time reminders for both the ISS and MIR space stations for virtually any major city in the world.
