Overview:

Naiospy is a spy software for Mac OS X written in perl that allows you to view/monitor your desktop via the web. Naiospy runs in the background. It is a unix utility (darwin) you can either run from the terminal or have run from cron at boot time. You can see what is going on on your Mac when you are away from it. Also, Naiospy is meant for parents concerned about what their children do online, or worried about protecting their children from the dangers of the Internet. Imagine a surveillance camera pointed directly at your monitor, filming away everything that is done on your Mac OS computer. That is the idea behind Naiospy. Naiospy works by taking a snapshot of whatever is on the computer screen and saves it to your web host. A few seconds later, Naiospy takes another picture. Naiospy can automatically take a picture of your computer screen as frequently as once every 20 seconds. Naiospy uploads pics to your web host via HTTP POST method. This makes Naiospy working even if your network is behind all sorts of routers/proxies. Upon logging on to Naiospy control panel on your web host you can either see what is going on "live" or see the latest pics.
