Overview:

he Still Capture Library is a set of functions that allow C/C++ developers to add still capture from webcams to their applications in just a few lines of code. The library is based on the DirectShow API but all the complexity is invisible to the developer. The Still Capture library is composed of the include file (scapi.h), the library file (scapi32.lib) to link to your modules, the redistributable library (scapi32.dll), the sample source codes in C++ and the binaries. Even though the library is very small, it features all the functions to get the most out of the available webcam(s): initialization / cleanup device enumeration device resolution enumeration device capability retrieval software and hardware trigger support copy captured picture to the clipboard or save it to a file get the handle (HBITMAP) of the captured picture get possible error messages
