Overview:

iTele lets you watch and record digital TV on your Mac! It's for both terrestrial (ordinary) and satellite digital TV. You can watch live TV in a window or fullscreen. You can consult the electronic program guide. You can schedule recordings. You can timeshift. You can listen to DVB digital radio. And... you can do all that with multiple input devices with multiple streams simultaneously! Recordings are saved directly as MPEG-2 Program Streams - i.e. without loss of quality through transcoding. It needs some digital TV tuner hardware of course - see the MMInputFamily product entry for supported PCI and USB devices. Currently only the 'DVB' style of digital TV is fully supported, which is used for free-to-air satellite digital TV almost everywhere in the world, and for terrestrial digital TV in Australia, Europe, UK, etc. 'ATSC' style for North America is coming soon.
