Chat Anywhere is a chat server for real-time chatting both in the local network and in the internet. Once the software is installed, a web-based chatroom will be set up in your PC, and you are just the chatroom's host. Anyone who wanna contact you can visit the chatroom via internet browser (E/Netscape/Opera/etc.) based on any operating system (Windows/Linux/etc) directly. But the visitors do not need to install the software unless they wanna be the host of their own chatrooms. For visiting your web-based chatroom, an internet browser is just enough. Any additional web server, such as IIS, Apache, etc., is not necessary. Nor of any special 'client software' which is required in other chat messagers. In a word, wherever you are, wherever you go, you can build a chatroom within seconds and then other people can visit it if only you can let your computer connect to certain network. Almost all functions you can found in other web-based chatrooms have been concluded in Chat Anywhere. But when using Chat Anywhere for chatting, you are the host of the chatroom reposed on your own computer. So please enjoy the role as much as you like. For example, you can kick some bothersome visitors out or refuse unwelcome guys to visit your chatroom by setting their IP as "forbidden".
