Overview:
This is a fix for the MacBook Pro whine issue using a StartupItem that loads a kernel extension which disables the C4 power mode on the CPU. It is packaged in a standard Mac OS X installer to make installation easy. Do NOT install this on computers other than the first generation MacBook Pro. This software is unsupported and comes with absolutely no warranty.
