Overview:

Google Toolbar Beta for Enterprise includes an installer package that makes it easy to give the Toolbar to all your employees and provides easy integration with search on your corporate network and public website. The Google Toolbar for Enterprise allows users to leverage the convenience of Google Toolbar in their workplace, with the security and control of administrative configuration. Like the consumer version of Google Toolbar, Google Toolbar for Enterprise is an end-user application that adds a search bar and other useful web tools to the Internet Explorer browser window. The Google Toolbar for Enterprise makes it easy to provide enterprise users with the Google Toolbar and to create standards for its use. In addition, the Google Toolbar for Enterprise supports networked or unattended installation and can be configured via Microsoft Group Policy. It also provides the ability to create custom buttons that display specified pages, direct searches to predefined systems, or display information from an RSS feed. With the Google Toolbar for Enterprise, you can define buttons for all users, using data from your own network or from the internet. These buttons can be centrally defined and distributed via a server to all clients in the network.
