Overview:
Mobster is a companion application for iTunes that allows you to share your iTunes playlists on the Musicmobs website, play other iTunes users playlists and create playlists based on personalized music recommendations. Mobster watches the music you play in iTunes and uses recommendation information from Musicmobs to suggest other bands that you may like. You can use Mobster to control iTunes, make playlists, find new music and browse your library more efficiently. Mobster uses the XSPF playlist format for playlist sharing. Mobster will open any XSPF with complete meta-data and locate all of the available songs in your library. Mobster will link to the iTunes Music Store to provide song samples for songs you don't have in your library.
