Overview:
DrumThing is a Quicktime MIDI music application designed be a software version of a drum machine for creating drum patterns, loops and grooves. With this app, the user can create loops and grooves with as many as 10 drums each having a choice of 48 instruments. Instrument choice as well as individual volume for each of the instruments is selected by a slider as is tempo. All QT drum kits are included and are selected with a popup menu. Of interest is the ability of assigning the app to created grooves randomly. The user can save the groove data, drum sets, and eventually MIDI files.
