Overview:

With BS Archistore it is possible to start extensive archiving and rearchiving jobs straight from Canto Cumulus. Within the Cumulus Client ( Win/Mac ) or the InternetClient Pro, consigns the user Assets and Mediaobjects to archiving. The archiving initialize a server process which is monitored by a logfile. The archiving takes place on Tape, DVD or CD. After the archiving, the original object will be deletet from the online storage. The new location will be stored in the Cumulus Database, and is visible for all Cumulus Client user. The user is able to see, whether the object is online, on tape or CD. Similar to the archiving consigns the user objects to rearching. A server process controls the relocation of the data to the online storage.
