Overview:
This software is to extend the playlist function in iTunes with two major functions: Genres can be selected out of a menu, which is very helpful when having lots of similar genres (e.g Rock1, Rock2). Up to 20 different Genres can be set for selection and unlike in iTunes Smart Playlist, you don't have to type anything to select a genre. File Format can be selected out of a menu. This function is not available in iTunes at all. Both functions only display used Genres/Formats of iTunes library and not anything unnecessary. In order to achieve the display of used Genres, Playlist Creator is examining iTunes Library at first start up. Updates can be run manually later, if necessary. The duration of this process is in proportion to the size of your iTunes Library and might take a while.
