Overview:

The Singlestep Device Panel for the Cisco 2950 Series allows unprecedented ease and flexibility when managing the 2950 series of Cisco switches. Switch and individual port status is easily monitored and modified from the front panel, which is a visual rendering of the switch. Other unique features of this product include the ability to: Change port status, speed, duplex, and other parameters, either manually or by policy. Change settings on any number of port interfaces with a single command. Control and Manage your Cisco hardware, without needing to know the command line interface of the Cisco Internet Operating System (IOS). Implement an unlimited numbers of policies to perform actions on your behalf when the conditions defined in the policy are met. Aggregate just the information that is important to you in a single view, using VNOSâ??s unique visual object oriented toolset. Managing more than one Cisco 2950 Switch? Built with VNOS, the Visual Network Operating System from Singlestep, each Device Management Application can be cloned to manage one or more additional switches. This is a key concept with VNOS, which means you can manage another 2950 on your network in moments. Simply drag and drop one icon into a new View, edit the community name and youâ??re up and running. No complex coding or configuration hassle. Managing more than one Cisco device? You can also combine information from the 2950 Series panels with data from panels for Ciscoâ??s 2600 series routers and PIX firewalls to swiftly create custom dashboards that show you just the information you care about.
