Overview:
The Microsoft ZIS Toolkit is a framework and a mechanism to encourage the adoption of a ZIS in every school. The kit includes informative documentation, tools and software to enable evaluation and deployment of a ZIS based on Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000. BizTalk is Microsoft's new enterprise application integration and business-to-business integration server based on XML and HTTP. The following software must be installed before installing the ZIS Toolkit: Microsoft Windows® 2000 SP1 Microsoft Message Queues (MSMQ) Microsoft SQL Server 2000 with Windows and SQL authentication selected Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Microsoft Word or a Microsoft Word compatible document viewer to view the white papers and technical documentation Microsoft Visio® 2000 drawing and diagramming software (note: it is not necessary to install Visio 2000 to run the demonstration, but is required to view the Orchestration schedules) 5 MB free disk space for the ZIS Toolkit to install.
