Overview:

SBABR is specifically designed to detect and remove Boot Sector and MBR viruses on both hard drives and floppies as well as protect your machine from crashes by intercepting any change that may occur to your computer system areas. SBABR is also a CMOS Data, Track Zero, Memory, MBR and Hard Disk & Floppy Boot Sector manager/editor and back up/restore utility. SBABR also cleans the traces of previous infections, restores a lost CMOS configuration and refreshes damaged system areas. SBABR can also draw samples of infected sectors, back up system areas and important files, will replace a suspicious floppy boot sector, keep the memory under control and more. SBABR 3.12, four stars rated utility at the ZDnet site, comes with a set of new features: the Track Zero display/edit tool (with built-in relocated MBR search) that allows browsing along all the sectors of your disk, backing up single sectors and "cut and paste" functions for low level disk management and cleaning. All the ASCII/Hex viewers allow jumping from sector to sector without the need of selecting a different function. Sectors will be displayed 256 bytes (half sector) at a time. DiskInfo shows hard drive(s) and floppies technical information. Any kind of data will be displayed on screen: bytes per sector, signature byte, serial number, boot signature, number of sectors, hidden sectors, sectors per FAT and more. The File Dumper. SBABR can display the ASCII and Hex contents of any file, regardless of its extension (EXE, COM, DOC, DLL etc.) The CMOS Sweeper, for deep CMOS cleaning and (optional) password unlocking.
