GroBoto is an intuitive 3D art tool, providing an environment where learning occurs naturally through the playful pursuit of cool images.GroBotos tools provide easy, real-time access to the three dimensional world. They allow for the natural flow of curiosity, leading to a deeper understanding of Spacial Concepts, Mathematics, Algorithmic Art, Animation, Artificial Life, Chaos, and Complexity.Freeform drawing in GroBoto can be enjoyed by children as young as four or five. Analogs to drawing, painting, and familiar toys like blocks and Legos provide a handle to the GroBoto world.Older kids soon develop an interest in the next level of GroBoto tools that provide a natural, relational means of navigating and building in three dimensional space. "Touching" any object in the GroBoto scene with the cursor places the new object in a nearby 3D location. Animation, simulation, algorithmic sculpture, and game design offer excitement and challenge without limits.
