Overview:

QUICKbatch 1.1 is a true batch image processor for the Mac. Simple and easy-to-use, this software will help you resample and convert various images into web-ready images of a single format using industry standard settings. QUICKbatch 1.1 now allows you to "Limit" the up or down sample to a specific pixel count for either the width or height while proportionally sizing the opposite dimension. For example: If you have a batch of images of various sizes that are going to be used on the Internet and you need them all to be no wider than 200 pixels but the height doesn't matter as long as it is proportional to the new width, then you would check the "Limit" check box for the width. The resulting images will all be 200 pixels in width, scaled up or down as needed and the height would be a proportional percentage of the scale used for the correct width. Conversly, if you want to set the height to a specific pixel count, then you would simply check the "Limit" check box for the height. Other Changes to version 1.1: 1. Added a "*.suffix" check box to allow you to rename the final files with a suffix. When this feature is checked, it will also remove any existing suffix from the destination file name and add the appropriate suffix to the file name. Unchecked, will leave the file name exactly as the original file name. 2. Added a "Creator" popup menu to allow you to choose the file to application association. The default is "Adobe PhotoShop". This allows the file to be double-clicked to launch the desired applicaiton. 3. Fixed a bug in the processing of "PICT, TIFF and BMP" type file formats.
