Overview:

Archiver produces archives of data, as you'd expect. It searches an volume you like for resources of a particular type, copying them into a single file. Gather together sounds, pictures, icons, cicn's, WDEF's and more. Archiver is developed mainly for developers, but anyone with a copy of ResEdit or Resourcer can view the archives, and use whatever they contain. If you have thousands of custom icons that you use to spice up your files, use Archiver to put them all into a single file, where you can quickly browse through them. You not only save time by having them altogether, but you get access to icons you perhaps didn't know existed, and more importantly you save disk space (provided you delete the original items afterwards).
