Overview:

A collection of the following control strip modules: AppleTalk II is basically a replacement for AppleTalk Switch control strip. Like the AppleTalk Switch control strip AppleTalk II will prompt with all the same alerts. In addition it provides the following behavioral changes: Icon shows the current network interface (LocalTalk, IRTalk, EtherTalk, TokenTalk, etc.) icon--normal if active or light (ttDisabled) if inactive. The Network control panel can be opened from the control strip--just like the "Open Sharing Setup" for the File Sharing control strip or "Open PowerBook Control Panel" for the Power Settings control strip. Unfortunately, the Network control panel only likes to be opened if AppleTalk is active. You can change your mind about activating AppleTalk after restart without getting an annoying error dialog or having to reboot twice. Calendar is a popup calendar for the Control Strip. Move the cursor over the arrows to advance or backup the calendar by months. Press the shift key while over the arrows to advance or backup a year at a time. Press the control key to accellerate the month or year advance or backup to full speed. Command click to show the options popup menu. Currently the only option is the show new/full moon choice. While the window is sticky open one can use the arrow keys to adjust the calendar. Left arrow goes to the previous month, right arrow advances to the next month, up arrow to the next year, and down arrow to the previous year. HD Spin Down II is basically a replacement for HD Spin Down. It changes the behavior from a pop-up menu to a simple button. If you press it the hard disk will spin down. OSA Script provides similar functionality to the OSA Menu extension except that the scripts menu is available from the Control Strip and not the menubar. Why? Why not? (mostly I thought it would be fun, convenient, and well I was running out of menubar space in some applications on my PB 180). Select an item to run the script or open a folder. Use the shift key to have the Finder reveal the selected item in its folder window. Use the control key to open a compiled script in the script editor. If the script is actually a drop application this using the control key simply asks the Finder to run the script as if the user had double clicked on it. Sleep Now II Sleep Now II is basically a replacement for Sleep Now. It changes the behavior from a pop-up menu to a simple button. A quick relief for the insomniac.
