FxFactory is based on FxPlug, Apple's new plug-in architecture which guarantees the best integration with Final Cut Pro, Motion and Final Cut Express. FxFactory uses the graphics card in your system to provide hardware-accelerated previews and rendering. FxFactory is a free plug-in management system that lets you install and try a vast collection of plug-ins. Some plug-ins are absolutely free.
