Overview:

Drive, as an electronic device, or as a combination of mechanics and electronics, is performed by its absolute physical speed and data input and output rates. On the other hand, any a drive is connected to a system as storage and/or host of virtual memory. So as a host of a part of memory system, its performance is sure to have more influence to wide range of applications. SciMark Drives is a software pack in SciMark serials to measuring performance of drives on the operating system level, in order to see how fast it could be in real life at single thread and multi-thread. There would be a large file made, but nothing will be more than write and read. It is good to measure the throughout of most kinds of drives.
