CpNwFile 1.0 (Windows)

Overview:

Have you ever wanted to Search your hard drive for the newest copy of a file? Well now you can. With CpNwFile, you can get a copy of any type of file either by its date & time stamp, or its Version Number. AND, if for some reason the first pick can not be retrieved, it automatically moved on to the second pick and so on. For example, say you want to find the latest copy of CpNwFile.exe on your hard drive and there are 2 occurances C:\Windows\System32\CpNwFile.exe 01/01/2009 Version: 2.0.0 C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\CpNwFile.exe 05/01/2009 Version: 1.0.0 Running: CpNwFile.exe "C:\CpNwFile.*" "C:\Temp" will end up with a copy of the Newest DATED (05/01/2009) in the Temp Folder. CpNwFile.exe "C:\CpNwFile.*" "C:\Temp" /V will end up with a copy of the Newest VERSION (2.0.0) in the Temp Folder. Normally, this will replace any pre-existing files in the Target Location. However if you want, you can protect a newer file in the Target location by adding the /B switch. For example, in either case above, had there been the file C:\Temp\CpNwFile.exe 10/01/2009 Version: 2.0.1, running with the /B flag would have BLOCKED the file's replacement.
