Overview:

SoftDrom RFBServer does allow to Enterprise businesses to provide Internet access, Web-Applications running, Business and Ad information access, Alerting and audio paging, web-applications running. And all these on Nortel IP Phones i2007, 1165E, 1140E, 1120E, 1150E and IP Softphone 2050. IT integrators are able to make money selling more Nortel IP Phones or Web-applications using RFBServer as a platform for their solutions. Components: 1) RFBServer.exe--Server, which provides connection of Nortel IP sets with VNC support with applications which should be run on those sets. 2) WebSurfer.exe--an application, which allows Internet surfing. Proxy is supported. The application does not modify web-pages for IP sets' screen formats. WAP-pages fit just great to Nortel IP Phones screens. Yet, normal web-pages can be surfed anyway. 3) SlideShow.exe--an application, which provides slideshow functionality on those sets. This application contains some slides already, although any slides could be removed and any new could be added via user interface for this application. Additional functionality: use F1/F2 to go to the next/previous slide without waiting for it (switch by a timer). This application can be used in the next ways on Nortel IP sets: Advertising of your services--just show your Hotel/Company/Product ad on Nortel IP sets which are used by your customers; Advertising for third parties--get money to show third part ad on Nortel IP sets which are used by your customers; Notifications--just put any notification on screens of Nortel IP sets in your phone infrastructure; Corporate photo frame--show pictures on screens of Nortel IP sets in your phone infrastructure;. 4) myNotepad.exe--an application, which provides a notepad functionality on those sets. This application can be used by an individual user to create and use a list of contacts and make calls directly via user interface for this application. 5) Paging.exe--an application, which allows to organize broadcast messages by using Nortel's phones. The phones can be combined to different groups. Priority paging commands are supported.
