Overview:
Dolet 5 for Finale is a plug-in for the Finale music notation program that reads and writes MusicXML 2.0 files on Windows and Mac OS X. It provides more accurate and faster translations than Finale's built-in MusicXML support. Dolet 5 for Finale is designed to work together with our Dolet 5 for Sibelius plug-in to give the most accurate transfers ever from Sibelius to Finale. When going the other way, from Finale to Sibelius, MusicXML files are now the only way to import Finale files into Sibelius 6. Exporting with Dolet 5 for Finale gets you the best results possible. Even if you're using Finale 2010, Dolet 5 has many advantages: Better file exchange with Sibelius; Improved MusicXML 2.0 support; Broadway Copyist font family support; More formatting control; Full batch translation; MusicXML XSD schema support; Open Score Format support; Works with more versions of Finale; More frequent updates. Do you want to read files from scanners like SharpEye and capella-scan? Exchange files with Sibelius users? Create files for use in digital sheet music players like Legato and OrganMuse? Dolet 5 for Finale lets you exchange music between applications more accurately than ever before. Finally, the limits to digital sheet music exchange are gone.
