Simple age-based profiles are provided or you can set your own with over 90 different categories of website to choose from. Adults can easily customise and password protect the level of access they and older members of the family require, while younger children can use the Internet safely choosing their profile with a single click of a badge. Brightfilter Parental Control software is updated in real-time every day which does not affect your Internet speed and can also be administered remotely - e.g. from work, allowing you to change your settings at home from anywhere with Internet access, globally. Set time limits for when the Internet can be used so your children can use the PC for homework without being distracted by MySpace, Facebook, Bebo. Brightfilter Parental Control 2009 also features Spam e-mail site blocking; protection from Spyware sites; Phishing site blocks (in conjunction with the Anti-Phishing Working Group); and default blocking of the IWF list of illegal web sites. Internet controls are applied to the whole PC - filtering all browsers (including all versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari), games, e-mail applications and instant messaging applications, ensuring the highest level of Internet safety for the whole family.
