Overview:

This is a simple-to-use HPGL plotter file viewer. It can view a plotter file on any PC monitor or print it on any Windows compatible printer. The output can be scaled up or down and will be in color on color printers and at printer resolution, large drawings can be printed off as multiples sheets of A4. Many older plotter commands (from dos based CAD packages) are also supported. Drawing can be saved as a bitmap picture or pasted into other Windows packages such as Paint or Word. HP Plotter files (HPGL, HP-GL, HP/GL, HPGL1, HPGL2) normally have the file name suffix "PLT", "P01", "PEN". They are one way of overcoming the incompatibility problems that prevent departments, companies, contractors etc. passing CAD data around via e-mail without the need for the recipient to justify and purchase a copy the particular CAD system that you use.
