Overview:

The Key Creator extends the standard .NET licensing mechanism to provide a secure means of licensing .NET components and applications using encrypted license keys. Key Creator uses simple mechanism with proven and unbreakable encryption algorithm to generate the license key. It generally encrypts the 'Reference Number' and embeds some necessary information into the encrypted value which is again encrypted to get final Key. Using this version of Key Creator you can generate license keys with options. Trial Licensing: in this mode a common 'Reference Number' is used along with the License expiration time period. Node Locked Licensing: in this mode, the 'Reference Number' should be the MAC Address of the machine on which to install/use the application. This ensures that the application can only be used on a single machine. User Locked Licensing: in this mode, the 'Reference Number' should be the Name of the machine on which to install/use the application. This ensures that the application can only be used on a single machine in the network. The 'Reference Number' is combined with Product Name to form a product specific Reference Number which is then used to generate the key.
