Overview:
Helix RADE (Rapid Application Development Environment) enables the creation, deployment and maintenance of customized solutions to information management problems on the Macintosh platform, via a proprietary graphical development environment that does not require traditional programming skills. Helix RADE, the development tool, gives the user complete capability to develop applications that can range from a simple, single user, to a complex, multi-user. Applications developed with Helix RADE can be executed in single user mode without any additional software, and can be deployed in client/server mode without modification. Since Helix single user system contains the complete development environment, the initial cost for production software can be very low. Should the business or application requirement grow, the application can be deployed into the client/server environment by merely purchasing the server and appropriate number of client licenses.
