Overview:
Agent (32-bit) is a powerful Newsreader with integrated e-mail.It has a superb user interface and it works both online and offline. Features include: the ability to view images and binary attachments; an intelligent header and article database; multi-level article threading using both the subject and article ID so that you always know exactly what an article is in response to; quoted text highlighting; a "dip into it" feature for checking out new newsgroups by only viewing recent articles; customizable signatures; internal multitasking so that you can do many online tasks at once; and much more. Other features include: the ability to send and receive e-mail, a built-in address book, a multilingual spell-checker, e-mail spam filters, support for secure logons to news and e-mail services, the ability to organize news and e-mail messages into folders, inbound e-mail routing (for sending messages to the folder of your choice), powerful filtering for retrieving and killing mesages, duplicate removal features, powerful searching, powerful viewing features (with sorting and filtering), handling of binary attachments, and a customizable interface.
