Overview:
SeeFile is a digital asset management system offering an elegant web interface that is accessible from any standard web browser. SeeFile enables users with a password to upload, download, annotate and preview files with a few clicks of the mouse. The administrator can determine what actions users can perform (upload, download etc) and what files they can access. Once files are uploaded thumbnail and previews are automatically generated and larger previews are accessible with a click of a mouse. Supported file types include Quicktime, Flash, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PSD, AI, EPS, PDF and RAW files. It's easy to organize all of your digital files on SeeFile by creating datafields to tag files. All fields including imported EXIF, IPTC and XMP metadata are searchable. This version focused on making page loads and image processing faster, optimizing the layout and adding extra functionality. New features included email notifications, redesigned user interface, annotations on multi-page PDF files and a complete log of history per user and action. Version 4.7 also supports the latest web browsers including Firefox 3.5, Safari 4 and Internet Explorer 8.
