Overview:

XMIC is a component-based software package for medical image visualization and analysis. It was coded in Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 with the Microsoft's Ribbon features (the technology used in MS offce). Features of XMIC include: 1). Free to use without time limit; 2). Component based software architecture; 3). Supports many file formats (DICOM, gipl, Analyze, vtk); 4). Volumetric data (3D MRI, CT, Ultrasound) visualization Surface data visualization.August 2009 version includes re-organized user interface, considerable improvement to the surface visualization component (BV), support to color mapping, support to surface clipping, and two new sample datasets including a whole-heart surface model and a electro-anatomical map for left ventricle.
