TrayTweet is a sleek desktop client that makes tweeting, viewing timelines, and messaging simple and convenient. Why use TrayTweet instead of your browser? You're always logged in, sending a tweet takes only a couple of clicks, friend tweets are automatically refreshed, and much more. TrayTweet 2.0 has many more features including: a complete interface redesign; search feature implemented; new menu for easy access to follow someone, edit preferences, logout, exit, view timelines, etc.; friends & followers list added with popup menus to view timeline, send a reply or message, follow / stop following, or view Twitter page; timeline "browser" displaying messages (in and out), your timeline, friends timeline, replies, and public timeline; options added to toggle check for updates, remember password, and minimize to system tray; preferences are now operating system user-specific; password is saved on the user's system using 112-bit Triple DES Encryption (DES-EDE) if "remember me" is checked; if the Twitter "hit limit" is reached, a timer automatically checks to see if the hit limit was reset and updates the timelines accordingly; added ability to destroy tweets in your timeline; messages panel which combines inbox / outbox of direct messages.Version 2.0 features complete interface redesign and adds ability to destroy tweets in your timeline.
