The "I'll tell you what most (type of experts/your competition) don't want to admit" strategy tells your prospects that your competition is hiding something from them. The "I wasn't going to tell you this but" strategy tells your prospects that you weren't going to reveal a specific piece of information but had second thoughts. If the information is beneficial to them, they will feel grateful that you changed your mind and possibly buy your product in return.
