The irreverent, award-winning 1980 comedic film Caddyshack is back, now as a mobile golf game! Tee it up at Bushwood Country Club in two exciting game modes with gambling, dancing and cheating! Schmooze your way through as Al Czervik, buckle down to play a round with Danny Noonan, or complain to the bitter end as Spaulding Smails. Choose your favorite character for grins, groans and great golf - but watch out for that pesky gopher! FORE!Caddyshack Golf offers players three game modes: Quick Round, Career Game, and Multiplayer. Choose from among six Caddyshack characters to play with: Al Czervik, Spaulding Smails, Bishop Pickering, Dr. Beeper, Danny Noonan, and a unlockable mystery golfer. Intro screens detail each players skill levels and current cash total (for making bets and upgrading their equipment). Of course, all players start out broke, so brush up on those skills if you want to earn some dough!Tips and TricksAs you advance, your opponents will keep pace by buying what equipment that they can afford in order to play better against you. Of course, the more bets and tournaments you win, the more theyll need to catch up with!If you look at their skill sets carefully, youll notice that each character is precisely as they were in the Caddyshack movie. Keep the film in mind when youre thinking about who to choose as an opponent.If you fail to press OK after a complete pass of the power indicator during your backswing, the indicator will reset and youll be able to swing again. Bushwood house rule: no penalty for whiffing.Unlike the backswing, your downswing will ?lock? after approximately two passes of the Aiming Guideline over the Guideline Target ? if you dont press OK or 5 before this happens, your ball will be hit toward wherever the guideline winds up when the club meets the ball. Dont overthink it!Dont forget that you can control the spin on the ball just after a drive is launched. Using the Up and Down Directional Keys on the Map screen can save a lot of balls from landing in the rough or taking a swim.Keep an eye on the Wind Speed and Direction indicators; if its blowing at a decent clip, the wind can throw a drive far off its planned course ? so remember to take it into account when sizing up your shot. FAQsQ: Is the course in the game the same course as in the movie? A: Yes! It was painstakingly modeled as closely as possible after the course as seen Caddyshack, using production stills and footage as reference. What gives?A: You have to remember two things when using shorter clubs, one is that youre going to get a lot more loft than you do with a long club. The other is that youre probably going to wind up using them to get you out of messes a lot. And just like in real like, its much harder to shoot from the rough, a bunker or behind a tree in Caddyshack Golf.Q: This is way too hard! How can I advance faster?A: Did you remember to upgrade your equipment? Without improving your skills through superior technology, it would be very hard indeed to beat some of the clubs better golfers. Try building up some cash in Tournaments and then stocking up on all the latest gear.
