Overview:
Aviation has more than its share of jargon. Especially for student pilots, this heavy reliance on a specialized vocabulary can make this aspect of aviation very difficult to learn.This database can help. It contains over 1500 definitions, abbreviations, and acronyms of interest to pilots. It allows pilots and student pilots fast access to the terms most commonly used in aviation. This file is presented in the "Address Archive" (.aba) format for the Palm series of personal digital assistants. Once the database is loaded on your PC to the Palm Desktop program, it will automatically be transferred to your Palm during the next HotSync operation. Once it is loaded to the Palm, you simply go into the address book application to view the list of terms. Select one, and the Palm will automatically display the definition of that term.Because that data is stored in a standard format, the Palm's built-in "Find" feature can be used to locate all references to a particular item.Note that this database is not compatible with MS Outlook!
