Overview:

In Caribbean Poker, a favorite in the Caribbean and aboard cruise ships, each player plays against the dealerand not against the other players. In Caribbean Poker you place an ante, receive a hand, and then decide whetheror not you would like to bet. Caribbean Poker is played with one standard deck of cards. When the game starts, you place your wager (''ante'') and then the dealer deals five cards for you and five cards for himself.Your cards are faced up. The dealer''s cards are faced down except for the last card which is faced up.Once the dealer deals the cards, you should choose either to stay in the game, which means that you shouldraise your bet (''Raise''), quit (''Fold'') or to change one of your cards (''Change''). If you choose to changeone of your cards, an amount of money equals to the original ante is paid to the dealer and right after that, you should decide whether to stay in the game and raise your bet (''Raise'') or to quit (''Fold''). In case youdecide not to change your cards, if you choose to quit (''Fold'') the ante is forfeited and if you choose tostay (''Raise''), the amount of the original ante is doubled. Once you take decision to Stay in the game, the dealer''s cards are revealed. If the dealer does not have (at least) one ace-king combination, the playerautomatically wins even money on the ante and the wager is returned. If the dealer does have (at least) oneace-king combination, then a comparison is made between the dealer''s and player''s hands. If the value of theplayer hand is higher, the player wins even money on the ante and the original wager pays according to thefollowing payout list: Royal Flush - 100:1, Straight Flush - 50:1, Four of a Kind - 15:1, Full House - 7:1,Flush - 5:1, Straight - 4:1, Three of a Kind - 3:1, Two pairs - 2:1, Pair - 1:1. If the value of the playerhand is lower, the player loses his bet. If the player and the dealer hands'' values are equal, the playergets his ante back.
