About this application: The UK portal is aimed at providing a single access point for all the must have information that you would like, or that would make your life just a little easier. Like knowing where there are traffic hold-ups, or being able to read the news if your on a bus or stuck in traffic.Since the application uses GPRS to pull the information from the web, you only pay for the data received and not for the time that you are active in the application.News The news section provides local as well as world news. The news items are pulled from Sky News feeds. Weather Synoptic charts and weather for a number of cities in England are available. The two synoptic charts show the temperatures as well as rain and cloud cover across the UK.Jobs Job information is pulled from feeds provided by http://www.jobs.ac.ukJobs available in the 9 major centres will be available. Since there are literally hundreds of jobs, only a limited number will be listed per centre, with their relevant details.Cheap Flights Cheap flight information is pulled from feeds provided by http://www.justtheflight.co.uk Flight details and pricing for flights departing from all the major airports in the UK are provided. JamCams The JamCam menu provides an easy way of accessing the different cameras positioned around London, enabling you to view the traffic at that location.EntertainmentRequirements The application requires Flash lite 2, available from the Macromedia website:Buy Flash Lite 2 Functionality Left select key - Takes to back one screen, or to the main menu Right select key - Exit, Close the application Arrow keys- Navigate through the content Enter- Select For the JamCam images and weather maps only Use the arrow keys to position the image/map on the screen. Responsibility The application has been tested on Nokia series 60 handsets. Every effort has been made to ensure that the content is accurate, but results may vary been sources.
