Overview:
MIMIC Virtual Lab creates a real world lab environment with a network of Cisco Routers and Switches. It gives hands-on learning experience without buying expensive equipment for the preparation for CCNA certification. It provides simulated Cisco Routers (2620, 3640, 7206) and Switches (2950, 3550, 6500) along with LAN, WAN, ISDN, and Serial links. MIMIC Virtual Lab is for beginners interested in familiarizing themselves with the complex environment and for intermediate or expert users looking to sharpen their skills and move to a higher level. It gives a safe environment to practice. You don't have to worry about bringing down the equipment/network and affecting other users. MIMIC gives Network Engineers an ability to practice for CCNA and other certifications instead of just reading instructions. It enables Training organizations to give a VLab to students with the classroom training or e-learning courses. Students can interact with Routers/Switches, just like real devices. Version 2.40 may include unspecifdied updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.
