Overview:

Overtone Analyzer is a sound visualization and spectrum analyzer software intended primarily for singers, singing teachers, speech therapists, instrument builders, musical theorists, and overtone musicians. It features a high resolution spectrogram and spectrum, which are displayed in a musical more than a scientific context. The unique Note Slider Overlay allows precise pitch measurements and explains the fundamental structure of the recorded sound in terms of the overtone sequence or harmonic series. The software is aimed at non-technical users, so its prime focus is easy of use and simplicity. Overtone Analyzer can be used to visualize your voice as part of singing or speaking exercises, to tune your instrument, or to explore sound.
