KidDesktop is a desktop replacement which simplifies the computer for kids. With KidDesktop, you can be confident that children will not view inappropriate content, delete important files, or change your computer settings. KidDesktop lets children safely: Visit Kid-Friendly Web sites, Watch Videos from a Personalized YouTube Playlist, Play Computer Games, Transfer Pictures from a Digital Camera, and View Pictures on the Computer. Parents have complete control over their child's KidDesktop. With KidDesktop, parents can select specific Web sites for their children and can also create a YouTube playlist composed solely of videos their child likes. KidDesktop makes it easy to browse popular videos selected by others in the KidDesktop community or to search for a child's favorites. Once configured, KidDesktop prevents children from leaving approved sites for unapproved sites, blocks online pop-up windows and downloads, and can even set limits on computer time.Version 2.0.18 is a bug fixing release.
