Overview:

Imagine being able to compose, record, and mix a piece of music all in the same program. Z-Maestro offers all this and more with a friendly interface and professional features. It's as easy to use as GarageBand, but with features found only in more expensive audio creation tools. Whether you are mixing audio for a home movie or composing the next top hit, Z-Maestro has what you need. Create multitrack projects featuring recorded or imported audio, instrumental parts, and percussion accompaniments. Z-Maestro's streamlined roll editor lets you place notes with ease, both for instrumental and drum parts. The powerful integrated audio editor combines a regular waveform view with a spectral view for precise frequency-specific editing. It also provides on-clip editing controls and audio effects. "Adaptive audio parts" will nondestructively match the audio's speed to the tempo of your project. Audio tracks can also have nondestructive effects applied to them in real time. Once you are finished with your creation, it can be quickly exported to any of several common audio formats and shared with the world. In version 1.1, Z-Maestro has undergone a complete makeover. The new interface is nearly as beautiful as the music that can be made with it. Many performance improvements were also made, particularly to the spectral audio editor.
