Overview:
TED Notepad is a swiss-army-knife freeware text editor, rich in innovative features, text-processing functions and other tools. All of them on hotkeys; all designed for quick advanced editing and text processing. This light-weight portable notepad replacement fits on any USB flash disk and loads instantly with no installation required. Features include two advanced searches, indentation, several types of word and line auto-complete, enhanced clipboarding, extensive text statistics, favourites and recent files menu, case conversions, line quoting and enclosing, reversing, finding and counting line duplicates, sorting, columns cutting and information extrating, word wrapping, unwrapping, tabifying. Also offers filters architecture for user-defined plugins and applications. Application can stay on top, go fullscreen or hide to system tray. Version 5.4.2 adds Fullscreen mode, Spawn New Window feature, option for Longest completion in Complete Word feature, option for Ignore case in Complete Word feature, and option to rotate the Search over the edge of the document.
