Overview:
ReStoring Data's File List Generator freeware software filters, prints, and organizes via a file's: name, type, size, created date, and date last modified. It was developed by the Research and Development team to aid data recovery service clients to ensure their files have been recovered. Whether they have had recovery of their Hard Drive, RAID Array, Memory Card, or USB, the File List Generator can order their files efficiently. This new software is a FREE alternative to other paid-for applications. It generates lists faster and with a higher accuracy than its predecessors. Windows does not provide an option for printing directories and the files stored therein; therefore, the File List Generator software is the ideal solution for persons wishing to review recently completed data recovery services to assure that their files have been recovered. This free application, designed for data recovery clients, may be used by any user wanting to manage their file lists. The File List Generator supports various file systems including: FAT and NTFS. The application functions on a friendly user interface, that is simple, fast, and highly accurate. The directory tree is well organized and is read, printed, and saved with ease. There are more customization functions such as choice of which information a user may like to include in their file list, and filter parameters that help isolate specific document types. Overall, it is a helpful application with a lot of versatility.
